The Gears of War 2 360 release date approaches, and with it looms the first walkthrough! Anyway let’s distract ourselves with some Gears of War 2 news and rumors…
We’ve caught wind of a site that says it knows What Multiplayer feels like in Gears of War 2. The site, going by the name of Gameguru.in, wrote thusly (replete with shaky sentence construction): “There is no more sticking to walls, players can wall bounce but again it’s not as fast enough. They can also break out of their slide before going into cover, the party system very similar to Halo games made by Bungie.” First off, a Halo comparison doesn’t sound bad to us. Secondly, we like any tidbits that sound like tips to help add to the Gears of War 2 cheats and walkthroughs.
Next up, a short foray into a quick bit called Gears of War 2 Spoilers (Sort of), by Chris Buffa of GameDaily, which is led in with: “What Microsoft doesn’t want you to know about its big, bad sequel.” Besides supposed “spoilers” there are also some great shots to go along with the commentary.
We’ve also discovered our potential list of Gears of War 2 walkthroughs just got shorter: CliffyB - Gears of War 2 “definitely not” Coming to PC. N4G comments: “Gameplayer spoke with Gears of War 2 lead designer CliffyB today and unearthed the info that unlike the original, there is no way the sequel will come to PC. He also mentions its dismal PS3 potential.” Look on the bright side: at least we can focus solely on just the Xbox 360 walkthrough for Gears of War 2…
